|+||Is Jablite packaging environmentally friendly?|
|Jablite is continuously striving to reduce packaging on its products. Products are wrapped in film as and when necessary to protect them during transport and storage on site. Ongoing efforts have been made to minimise the thickness of film used to reduce the packaging further. Pallets are used when requested by customers, but wherever possible recyclable EPS 'skids' are used.|
|+||Does Jablite manufacture to ISO 14001?|
|Yes, Jablite is certified to the BS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standard.|
|+||Does Jablite EPS include any recycled material?|
|Yes. Jablite standard products use between 0% and 60% recycled material depending on the grade, type of product and recycled material availability. The recycled material is from off site sources e.g. clean offcuts from building sites or from the manufacturing process - 100% of Jablite's manufacturing EPS waste goes back into the manufacturing process.|
|+||Does Jablite’s manufacturing process use a lot of energy?|
|No. Compared with other insulation materials, the manufacturing process uses only small amounts of energy as the Jablite EPS bead is expanded by steam.|
